Tracing Four Centuries of Hasselbachers

This is the document prepared by the late Fritz Hasselbacher of Germany that has been so useful for so many of us.  It summarizes the family relationships of the earliest Hasselbachers in Franconia. Copies of the document in German, some appendix material, and a partial translation are provided.

Birth Records of Hasselbachers from Diespeck Church

These 55 names were abstracted from the Church books of St John the Baptist in Diespeck in the late 19th or early 20th centuries. Dates are from 1759 to 1868

Marriage Records of Hasselbachers from Diespeck Church

Twelve marriage records of male Hasselbachers abstracted from the Church books of St John the Baptist in Diespeck. Dates are from 1733 to 1875.

Death Records of Hasselbachers from Diespeck Church

Twenty-two death records from the church books at Diespeck. Dates span 1776 to 1875.

Franconian (German) Church Records

Extraordinary transcriptions of many old church records from Franconia and Gresten. Records are transposed from the old German script to modern German type and organized by person. These represent the definitive resources presently available to the Hasselbacher family. (In preparation.)
